An Express Like Gate can be added to any design before publishing a tab. This adds an overlay on top of your design, which hides it from visitors of your Facebook Page until they become a fan.
To add an Express Like Gate, follow these steps:
While in the Template Editor, click the Save button. A message will appear informing you your design has been saved. You will be asked if you are done editing your design. Click I'm Done to proceed to the publishing step.
In the Publishing step, set all of your Tab's options. Then, select the checkbox to Add a Like Gate before you click Publish Tab. The Publish Tab button will change to a Next button. Click Next to continue.
Edit the text that you'd like to appear on the overlay. You can see a preview of the text on the right-hand side.
Set the dimmer level, which dims the background behind the overlay. Use the preview on the right to determine how dark you'd like the background to be.
When you are ready to publish, click Publish Tab to publish your tab with the Express Like Gate.
