The Shapes menu allows you to insert shapes, Embellishments, and SmartElements on top of the image. Click the Shapes button to expand the menu.
Rectangle
To insert a Rectangle, click Rectangle from the Shapes menu.
Adjust the Rectangle's fill color and transparency level, border color and transparency level, and border thickness (in pixels) as required.
Click Apply to apply your settings. The Rectangle will be inserted at the top-left corner of the image area.
Ellipse (Circle)
To insert an Ellipse, click Ellipse from the Shapes menu.
Adjust the Ellipse's fill color and transparency level, border color and transparency level, and border thickness (in pixels) as required.
Click Apply to apply your settings. The Ellipse will be inserted at the top-left corner of the image area.
Rounded Rectangle
A Rounded Rectangle is a rectangle with rounded corners. To insert a Rounded Rectangle shape, click Rounded Rectangle from the Shapes menu.
Adjust the Rounded Rectangle's fill color and transparency level, border color and transparency level, and border thickness (in pixels) as required.
Click Apply to apply your settings. The Rounded Rectangle will be inserted at the top-left corner of the image area.
Embellishment
Embellishments
are pre-designed graphical objects (such as tags, labels, speech
bubbles and symbols) that can be inserted into a design or on top of images.
To Insert an Embellishment, follow these steps:
From the Shapes menu, Click Embellishment. The Embellishment browser is displayed. Use the categories on the left, or search by name/keyword.
Select an Embellishment and click Insert. The Embellishment is inserted into the top-left corner of the image area.
SmartElement
SmartElements are graphical objects that consist of multiple elements that can be inserted into a design or on top of images. They can be customized by changing text, images, and more.
To Insert a SmartElement, follow these steps:
From the Shapes menu, Click SmartElement. The SmartElement browser is displayed. Use the categories on the left, or search by name/keyword.
Select a SmartElement and click Insert. The SmartElement is inserted into the top-left corner of the image area.
Once the SmartElement is inserted, edit it by double-clicking the SmartElement. SmartElements can edited just like images.
