Resizing Images

To resize an image click on the image (or image element) that you want to resize.

From the Edit menu select Width-Height

 

From within Image Editor main window

 

Click on the image (or image element) that you want to resize.

 

From the Edit menu select Width-Height

To resize the image, enter the Height Width required and click OK

 

To automatically adjust the Height-Width of the image, select Lock Aspect Ratio

 

 

Using the Crop / Resize window

 

The Crop / Resize window is automatically opened whenever you insert or upload an image.

 

To open the Crop / Resize window from within Image Editor itself (e.g. if you are editing a pre-supplied image within a template), select an individual image (or image element), and from the Image menu, click Crop. The selected image is displayed in the window.

Click on the image to be resized. You can now use the handles to resize the image as required. The handles are arranged around the image, with a handle at each corner and at the midpoint of each edge.

To adjust the image size, click and drag one of the handles, or drag the Size slider. Drag the slider to the left to reduce the size of the image, or drag the slider to the right to increase the size of the image.

To maintain the image height-to-width ratio when resizing, hold down the SHIFT key while dragging.

 

Click OK to resize the image and return to the standard Photo Editor window.

 

 

Resize to Fit buttonResize to Fit. By default, you cannot drag the handles to increase the size of the image beyond its original size. If you do want to increase the size beyond this, then increase the size of the crop box, then click Resize to Fit. The image expands to fill the entire crop box.

 

 

 

Info icon Resizing is different from cropping. Resizing retains all parts of the image, whereas cropping will trim it.
