Using the Template Editor

Once you have selected a Template using the Template Browser, it is opened in the Template Editor.

Email Settings

Before you Save/send, you'll need to set the following settings for your Email Design:
 

• Subject: This will be the Subject line that is used when you send your email.
   

• Description: This won't be displayed or used in your email, but it will help you identify the design later in the "My Designs" menu.

Viewing Mode

The Template Editor has two viewing/editing modes:

• Design Mode: This is the default view, giving a WYSIWYG ("What you see is what you Get") view.
   

• HTML Mode: This displays the underlying HTML code. The HTML source code can be edited directly. Click Edit Mode to return to the standard WYSIWYG view.
  Note: HTML mode is recommended only for advanced users with HTML experience. Improperly editing HTML source code can negatively affect the design.

Preview

To see a preview of your email as it would appear when sent, click the Preview button at the top-right corner.

Save/Publish

Once you've edited your design to your liking, you can save it as a draft, or send it through various email outlets. For more information, see "Saving Email Designs" and "Sending Email Designs".
